"Hazel Cummins made the best Caramels in all of Kentucky." Well, that simply isn't true. She was too busy catching fish in the numerous lakes in and around Rockcastle County. But she loved caramels, and always, ALWAYS kept some around the house. As a result, my sister Evelyn (Evan) and I, Cynthia (Cynthee) grew up loving caramels. So in my grandmother's honor, Hazel Belle's was born. Plus, we very much prefer making exceptional caramels over fishing.
